President of Russian Railways, Vladimir Yakunin, said the highway will be called the Trans-Eurasian Belt Development, which the development will mostly use the existing highway road. Russian media also said that if the project is successful, there will be 10 to 15 new industries, new city and of course a lot of jobs thanks to this super highway.
"The project is very ambitious and expensive it will address the growing problem in some regions," said Vladimir Fortov, Head of the Russian Academy of Sciences commented. "It is related to social programs, new jobs, new energy sources and more," he continued.
Currently the longest Highway road in Australia called Highway 1. This highway has a length of up to 14,485 kilometers.
